Synopsis

Sugihara, a troubled youth with a Zainichi Korean father and Japanese mother, has been trained in boxing by his father, a former North Korean professional boxer. After attending a strict, Marxist-influenced junior high, Sugihara transfers to a regular Japanese high school where he faces daily challenges from classmates. His life changes when he falls for Sakurai, a mysterious girl he meets at a party, and begins to fear that revealing his ethnic background could ruin their relationship. However, a call from his old friend Jong Il brings news that threatens everything.

القصة  

سوغيهارا، شابٌّ مضطربٌ من أبٍ كوريٍّ من أصلٍ زاينيتشي وأمٍّ يابانية، تدرب على الملاكمة على يد والده، الملاكم المحترف السابق من كوريا الشمالية. بعد التحاقه بمدرسةٍ إعداديةٍ صارمةٍ ذات طابعٍ ماركسي، ينتقل سوغيهارا إلى مدرسةٍ ثانويةٍ يابانيةٍ عاديةٍ حيث يواجه تحدياتٍ يوميةً من زملائه. تتغير حياته عندما يقع في حبّ ساكوراي، الفتاة الغامضة التي يلتقيها في حفلةٍ ما، ويبدأ بالخوف من أن يُفسد الكشف عن أصوله العرقية علاقتهما. لكن مكالمةً من صديقه القديم جونغ إيل تحمل له خبرًا يُهدد كل شيء.
